Good luck Green Dragon on Leg 8! It is great to see you in front when you left Galway. It was sad to see you leave, though. The people of Galway really took the race to our hearts. We loved every minute of the stopover, and the race. It has gotten so many school children into sailing - including myself! You’ve really done something for Galway. Hopefully the race will visit Galway in the [hopefully] 2012-2013
edition.

GOOD LUCK IN LEG 8 AND HOPE YOU GET A PODIUM FINISH!

~ Jack K.

[Also, thanks Ian Walker for coming to St. Pat’s on Thursday! The entire school was thrilled to have you there!]

Many thanks for a fantastic stopover in Galway.
It was amazing!! I,with my family went to Galway docks @ least 5 times, Salthill to see the race last Sunday and today to see your departure. I will follow the race and the Green Dragon, to its conclusion on the net, and keep up to date with the latest news and photos.
Good luck with the rest of the race and enjoy it.
Kind regards

I was on one of the spectating boats today on Galway Bay to see the Dragon in full belt and although a bit away from us we were roaring you guys on as you led the other boats! It was obvious you guys wanted to put in a big performance on for your home crowd, you did not let us down! Proud to be Irish, proud to be from Galway and VERY PROUD TO BE BACKING THE GREEN DRAGON! Thank you for a wonderful two weeks here in Galway! You’re an amazing bunch of people, you’ll always be welcome in Galway!

Hi Guys,

It was great to see you entering the docks in Galway with a 3rd place under you’re belt. Hoping you can maintain this or better it for the next 3 legs, but don’t go winning unless it’s safe to do so.

As the old Irish saying goes “May the road rise to meet you and the wind be at your back”. Take care as we all want to see you in St Petersburg.

THANK YOU

Over 37,000 miles completed, 10 legs, 11 stopover ports and so many memories along the way.  It has been a tough campaign and an emotional rollercoaster at times but there is nothing else I would rather have been doing.
