Lads,
besides the Six Nations there hasn’t been much about Ireland to be proud of in the last few years, but seeing you all in Galway over the last two weeks has given us back our spark.
Keep up the great work and good luck with the rest of the race.
You’ve got a whole load of people behind you wishing the wind into your sails!

CommentWell guys you have really picked up on the positive energy surrounding you in Galway, its great to see u battling it out at the front. I still have this unreal feeling despite watching u head towards Sweden, that u will be pulling into Galway harbour in the next 2 days. Hears to another podium, Peter Moore

You are playing a blinder guys! What a great run for you so far. So great to see you sail hard and sail clever - you deserve that second position, and hopefully you will do even better. Keep it up guys!

Superb battling up the Channel, keep up the great work lads.
The podium in Galway was a great reward for everyone’s efforts, those on board and the shore team, and the fantastic response in Galway a great result for the efforts of the Green Dragon Team and all those behind the scenes involved in getting the Ireland team, boat and stopover afloat. Awesome.
Crack on Dragoneers, and go the Galway Girl!

Hi Guys, well we’re still coming down from the high of the Galway stopover and it’s great to know that all the crews seemed to have had such a good time here. It’s inspiring to see you leading the fleet with just over 600nm to go in this leg. Long may it last! Keep up the good teamwork “Dragoneers”, good luck and we are all so proud of you.

we were out at the fastnet rock on saturday evening and we spent 4 hours under the lee of cape clear before we went to the rock to see you pass. it was just fantastic to see you lead the fleet around the rock. we had nine on board our boat and the few minutes that we saw you for made a night in thirty knots of wind at times well worth the moment.
best of luck on the rest of the leg.

To all the team,
I flew home to Galway (from London) two weekends out of the three ye spent in Gawlay, one to see you arrive and then leave last Saturday. I don’t think I have ever seen Galway like I did over those few weekends - The town or it’s people didb’t know what to expect, but my god, did we fall head over heels in love with everthing the Green Dragon and it’s crew are about!
Ye are doing a fantastic job and have the support of us all, all the way to the end! Keep it up guys - Stuff of Legends :o)

Lads, I was on one of the boats that met you guys off the salthill shore at 3:30 or so and was one of the 8000 people who were on the dock in Galway the night you arrived.
Thank you so much for an inspirational effort by you all. This is one of those times when it really is not about the winning but truly about the effort. You achieved so much against all the odds that we can only watch in wonder and awe at your team.
I am truly proud to be Irish thanks to you guys. (I got about 470 pictures over the last 3 weeks of our trip up to Galway, meeting the Dragon at 3:30, you guys meeting your families and the in shore races etc)
Recession? What recession...you guys nuked it!
