Oh but you guys are JUST FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! I;m SOOOOOOOOOO happy for you and your families. Hollywood could not have come up with a better script! And best of all, you’ve got the mayor to get up at 3.50am....the one thing he asked you all NOT to do in Boston. Well DONE all you “Dragoneers”. IT’s 3’50 in the mornong and I waited up to see how you did and BOY was it WORTH IT. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU GUYS!

Best of luck, Green Dragon Team!  Watched Erickson come in from the Spiddal shore tonight and knew you were not far behind!  Being an American who has lived in Ireland for 8 years, I’m torn about supporting you or Puma, but impressed by the perserverance of you all!  God Speed and good luck.....we’ll be with you in Galway.

by katherine davies on May 24 2009

Congratulations on doing so well. Wish I could be in Galway to cheer you winners in. Gain even more points on the next leg.

by noel gantley on May 24 2009

This is just ridiculous! It’s 1:15am and I feel like an absolute nervous wreck. I just want you guys to get what you so READILY deserve and that is a podium finish at your HOME port. I won’t be able to sleep until I know how you’ve done. I hope GUO feels just at home in Galway as he did in Qing Dao (HIS native home!) WE’re thinking of you all guys and your families. GO FOR IT!!

Good luck on the last leg of the trans-Atlantic journey, and we’ll see you when you get in.

THANK YOU

Over 37,000 miles completed, 10 legs, 11 stopover ports and so many memories along the way.  It has been a tough campaign and an emotional rollercoaster at times but there is nothing else I would rather have been doing.
