I am now back in Singapore after 9 days away with my family on holiday in Bin Tan, Indonesia. It was great to just get away from the chaos of the Volvo Ocean Race, spend time with my wife and kids, and also recharge the batteries.

USed to sail at Wroxham when you visisted the Mirror open with Plumbers MAte - also did the 420 training at the same time, last met at the NAti0onals in Holyhead.
Good luck with the rest of the Malacca Strait - I lived in Singapore for 5 years and sailed up and down it manytimes - plenty of oppurtunity to grab the lead, but don’t have any tips as it is so unpredicatable.
My best tip[ is the best beer in Singapore - Brewerkz opposite Clark Quay

I’m sitting here in the cold and its raining outside, listening to a bit of music, reading your email on the Volvo Race website, reading the different articles on your site.
