Ian Walker
Ian is one of Brtiain’s most successful sailors with two silver medals to his name. Ian also coached Shirley Robertson and her Yngling Team to gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics. When Britain launched its first bid for the America’s Cup for 14 years in 2000, Walker was named as the skipper. Then, in the 2007 America’s Cup he joined fellow Olympic medallist Iain Percy as the tactician of the Italian team +39. America’s Cup commitments were combined with the highly successful TP52 campaign as skipper of Patches, owned by Eamon Conneely.

Over ten year’s experience sailing with high profile racing teams, participating in and winning some of the world’s most prestigious sailing events. Justin’s primary role on the boat is Bowman, although due to the nature of offshore sailing, he hold a range of skills that extend to many areas including helming and in particular trimming.

Damian Foxall
One of the most experienced sailors of his generation. Damian has 27 years of ocean and dinghy racing experience, with over 310,000 nautical miles, 18 trans- Atlantic crossings and 7 round the world events to date. Competitive sailing started for Damian in 1992 when he took part in his first trans-Atlantic race.

Anthony Merrington
Anthony has 17 years of yacht racing experience under his belt, accumulating more than 120.000 offshore nautical miles. He competed in the Volvo Ocean Race 2001-02 with Team SEB and this summer sailed as pitman with the Swedish America’s Cup challenger, Victory Challenge. In 2003 Anthony sailed with Ellen MacArthur aboard Kingfisher B&Q in their Jules Verne attempt.

Neal McDonald
Neal has a prestigious sailing CV with an Olympic Games, three America’s Cups, three Whitbread and Volvo Ocean Races to his name. He also holds several successes in the Fastnet and Round Gotland Race, not to mention a victory in the international 14 world championships in 1989.

LOOKING AHEAD
I am now back in Singapore after 9 days away with my family on holiday in Bin Tan, Indonesia. It was great to just get away from the chaos of the Volvo Ocean Race, spend time with my wife and kids, and also recharge the batteries.
